going to see a specialist on monday

So I'm off to see a specialist on monday to discuss my endo and what my next steps are since the first surgery didn't help me as much as I would've liked.

True, the pain is less, but it's still there. My now-former obgyn suggested that I do another surgery or try to get pregnant.

Josh and I have been contemplating having a second child. So this might be Fate telling us to get on with it. I dunno, I guess I want to wait and hear what the specialist has to say. I think I'd rather go in for another laproscopy before attempting to conceive. But again, I'll wait until Monday when I talk to this Dr.

What would be the benefit by getting pregnant? I don't understand. I had 3 ERCP's (Endoscopic Retrograde Colon-Pancreatography). Not fun. But whoo, are those some crazy drugs they fill you up with. Why are you getting an endo done? I must've missed the specifics of that post?

I had a laparoscopy done in June because of all the pain I was having. The dr. found endometriosis in a lot of my organs (ovaries, uterus, bladder and lower intestines) and removed the endo/scar tissues/adhesions. A month later the pain returned and my doc wouldn't take it seriously, even after I called her one morning sobbing hysterically in pain. She told me to see a GI. He did a CAT scan and my GI tract was normal however my ovaries were covered with cysts and one had ruptured (and I began bleeding like crazy the following day). So when I went to see my unconcerned doctor, she suggested either she cut me open again, or that I get pregnant because getting pregnant could help. So.... I'm seeing an endo specialist tomorrow to hear his opinion. Fun, huh? LOL
