Very interesting, but to put into perspective.... How much paper and ink was used in the production of his artwork causing how many forests to be cut down and ink cartridges put into landfills... Perhaps he should do a piece on that.
He has a very powerful message, however his method of conveying it does nothing to solve the problem, only contributes to it. Imagine if he sold prints of his work!
lol I hope he doesn't! But it's nice to put it all in perspective. I thought it was all done digitally, but if he does have prints made then it's a shame.
Yeah, if you read through, each installation is made up of multiple photographs. When one of his smaller ones are 60x72"...
That's close to 49 8x10" (7 down by 7 across, I think I did the math right...) images lined up. That's 5 feet by 6 feet.
A lot of paper wasted to say "don't waste paper".... Photo paper isn't recycled. Perhaps if he printed it on recycled paper and refilled or recycled the ink cartridges...
I find it ironic when people make statements like this, yet contribute to the problems they're pointing a finger at.
